Network Commemorates National Native American
Heritage Month with The NAMMYS


New York - On Saturday, November 8th, at 8:00PM EST, the Eighth Annual Native American Music Awards (N.A.M.A.) will be broadcast as the first featured program of a special series of Awards show broadcasts to air on the international MHZ Network.

MHZ Networks Worldwide, “a network for globally-minded people,” will begin airing the Eighth Annual Native American Music Awards at 8:00PM EST with a repeat broadcast at 11:00PM EST.

Taped live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood Florida, the Eighth Annual Native American Music Awards features a host of performances and appearances by Native American and mainstream artists; Rita Coolidge (Cherokee), Rod Stewart & Mick Jagger's guitarist Stevie Salas (Apache), Shalimar's Miki Free (Cherokee), COPS theme song writer Calton Coffei, original Pearl Jam drummer Dave Abbruzzese, Jean Beauvoir and Little Steven along with a special Hall of Fame tribute performance to the late Link Wray (Shawnee).

Showtimes are as follows:

Eighth Annual Awards Show – 11/8 @ 8 PM EST Repeat at 11 PM EST
Ninth Annual Awards Show – 11/15 @ 8 PM EST Repeat at 11 PM EST
The Best of The Nammys- 11/22 @ 8 PM EST Repeat at 11 PM EST

The airing of all these Awards programs will commemorate the month of November as National Native American Heritage Month.
